I completed my apprenticeship as a goldsmith and silversmith in the late 1990s. Afterward, I worked for a while before heading to Australia to earn an Honours Bachelor’s degree. I found it very difficult to sell my pieces because I identify strongly with my work. Consequently, I decided to study biochemistry and spent many years working as a research scientist. After my mother passed away, I took over her workshop. Since then, I have been working as a goldsmith and silversmith again, and I realize just how much joy the work brings me. I still identify strongly with every piece I create, but it has become easier to handle criticism. After all, I don’t like everything that others create, either. Seeing customers with my pieces joyfully, any criticism or setback is forgotten. I feel honoured every time I have the opportunity to embellish someone.

Start with a sketch
For a fixed, low fee the goldsmith sketches — fully credited when it becomes an order.
Final price after the sketch
Only once the sketch exists can the price truly be set. If you agree, you pay once — safely in escrow until delivery.
Follow along to delivery
Photos from the bench until your piece arrives. The final payment follows only after your confirmation.
